Common Questions
How long does a benchtop take, from template to install?
Most kitchen installs run [X–X weeks] from template to fit, depending on the stone chosen and how busy the workshop is at the time.
What's the difference between natural and engineered stone?
Natural stone, marble, granite, quartzite - is cut from the earth, so every slab is genuinely one of a kind. Engineered stone is manufactured for more consistent colour and lower upkeep. We'll talk you through both at your consultation.
Do I need to reseal my benchtop?
Most natural stone needs resealing roughly every [12 months]; most engineered stone doesn't need sealing at all. We'll tell you exactly what your chosen slab needs.
Can I see the actual slab before it's cut?
Yes, come into the workshop and pick the exact slab your benchtop will be cut from, veining and all, before anything's fabricated.
